Alex Kremer · Entity Lab · New York

I'm Alex. I build companies in travel, music and live events, and help other teams build theirs.

Serial entrepreneur with four exits. These days I advise travel and entertainment companies on AI, distribution and new ventures, and invest in founders building in the markets I know best.

01 · Consulting

Need an operator's read on a travel decision?

I work with travel tech platforms, hospitality groups, venture studios and investors. Some engagements are a scoped project with a clear finish line. Others are monthly advisory for the long haul.

  • AI transformation

Figure out which AI projects are worth funding in travel and hospitality, then get them live.

  • Distribution and channels

Connectivity, reseller strategy and channel economics for experiences and travel tech. I cofounded Flextrip and Redeam to solve exactly this.

  • Venture validation

Pressure test a new venture, or a startup you plan to back or buy, before you commit.

  • Fractional leadership

Product and strategy leadership for a set stretch, with a clear scope and an end date.

Selected clients

  • DataArt

AI transformation for the Travel and Hospitality practice

  • Vantora

Evaluated and validated airline and hospitality startups

  • Gray Line Worldwide

Helped implement its channel sales strategy

I've raised venture rounds, exited companies and shut down the ones that didn't work. I bring all of it to the teams I work with.

What I've built

I started in music. I cofounded FanAxis, which brought digital fan engagement to major label artists and grew to $35M ARR before it was acquired.

Most of my work since has been in travel. Flextrip built one of the first B2B networks for selling tours and activities. Redeam raised $20M to connect attractions with the resellers who sell their tickets, with clients like Disney. Arival became the experiences industry's leading conference and research company.

Not everything worked out. Some companies never found their market, and I shut them down. I'm as open about those as I am about the exits.

Today I'm a partner at Slapback, which gives musicians honest feedback before they release, and a cofounder of Directoury, which helps experiences operators pick the right software.

03 · Investing

I also back founders in these markets

I invest at preseed and seed, with my own capital and a syndicate when a round needs more. I've sat on the founder side of the table enough times to know what helps: introductions to distribution partners, hands on product help and support on the next raise.

How pitching works

Pitch a startup
  1. 01 · Check in

    Send five fields

Name, email, company, one line on what you're building, and a deck link if you have one.

  2. 02 · Boarding

    Hear back within a week

I read every pitch myself. Every founder gets a yes or no.

  3. 03 · Departure

    Talk it through

If it's a fit, we get on a call and you get a clear decision on the check and how I'll help.

04 · FAQ

Questions people ask

How do consulting engagements work?

A scoped project for a defined problem, or monthly advisory for ongoing work. We agree on scope before anything starts.

Who do you consult for?

Travel tech platforms, airlines and hospitality groups, venture studios, and investors doing diligence on travel and experiences deals.

What stage do you invest in?

Preseed and seed, in travel and experiences, music and creators, live events, and AI built for them.

How much do you invest?

It depends on the round. I invest my own capital, with a syndicate alongside when the round needs more.

Do you lead rounds?

Sometimes. I'll lead the earliest rounds when the fit is strong.

Will I hear back on a pitch?

Yes. Every founder gets a yes or no within a week.

Do I need a deck?

A link helps. A clear one line pitch is enough to start.
